CAMP AT THE
BALLOON FIELD!

Basic Information

We are excited to be able to provide extended stay camping at the balloon field once again this year! Camping is available for the nights of July 1 - July 8. You can purchase a Rally Pass for all four nights of the Rally (July 3-6), or you can book individual nights. You may make up to FOUR (4) reservations under one name. You must purchase space to accommodate the full length of each hitched rig - this means your camper PLUS TOW VEHICLE if applicable. All camping reservations, tent or vehicle, include a parking permit for one vehicle that may come and go from the camping area at the balloon field plus a stationary permit for any towed campers. Additional vehicles may park with their parties in the camping area but must purchase an additional vehicle parking pass. If you are making more than one reservation, please provide names and contact information for each reservation made.

CAMPING AT THE BALLOON FIELD PROVIDES EVENT ADMISSION IN THE MORNING FOR UP TO SIX (6) PEOPLE.

SATURDAY NIGHT CAMPING ALSO PROVIDES ADMISSION TO "RALLY UP & GET DOWN!" FOR UP TO SIX (6) PEOPLE.  Additional parking passes are NOT available for Saturday night.

Rules & Regulations

• ALL CAMPING RESERVATIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. You may transfer your reservation to a different name until June 15.

• Camping opens at 3pm on Monday, July 1. Arrivals prior to July 3 will receive instructions for self check-in. Departure is no later than 12pm on Tuesday, July 9. There is ABSOLUTELY NO CAMPING ARRIVAL BETWEEN 9:00PM - 9:00AM.

• Camping at the balloon field is in a demarked area at the northeast side of the balloon field with a designated TENT CAMPING ONLY space where vehicles of any kind are prohibited. The area is gridded, and all campers will be assigned a grid space. We will keep parties that booked together assigned to spaces together. You MAY NOT camp anywhere other than your assigned spot.

• The camping area is DRY AND WITHOUT POWER. Trash dumpsters, recycling bins, and porta-pots are provided. A potable water spicket is available upon arrival to fill holding tanks if necessary. You are responsible for keeping the camping area clean - please be respectful our of volunteer staff and DO NOT PUT TRASH IN THE RECYCLING BINS.

ABSOLUTELY NO FIRES. This means any kind of open flame and includes ground level propane fire pits. Grills and propane cook stoves are allowed, but must be used a minimum of 30in from the ground. In the event of severe fire restrictions, further cooking restrictions may be implemented. • Generators are permitted and, as long as your neighbors don't mind, you are welcome to run your generator all night if you wish.

• The balloon field is adjacent to the Teton Valley Rodeo Arena, with rodeos taking place on the nights of Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5. Please note that the announcements are LOUD and often last until 10:30 or 11:00PM. You may want to wear earplugs, run a noise machine, or both.

• Well behaved pets are welcome at the balloon field. All pets must be under verbal or physical control at all times, and campers are responsible for cleaning up after their pets IMMEDIATELY. All pets must be confined to a camper, vehicle, or tent during morning launches. Pets should NOT be left in tents, campers, or vehicles that are not temperature controlled after 9am, as it gets HOT.

• FOR THE EVENING OF SATURDAY, JULY 6: If you plan to camp at the field for Rally Up & Get Down! - glow & a show with the Mother Hips, please note that  ALL camping arrivals check in and park no later than 4:00pm. NO camping arrival after this time. No vehicular movement on the field, other than chase vehicles, beginning at 5:00pm. 

*You may be visited by Zeppelin or Bix (Newfoundlands) or Milli (Norfolk Terrier - these are the Rally Dogs & they often roam free at the balloon field; if you see them their people are nearby*
